Are wind turbines for energy generation a partial solution for the next fifty years, or will they be a questionable choice due to their low efficiency, relatively short lifespan, high energy transport costs, and expensive replacements? Not to mention the impact on nature, the seabed, and the placement of massive turbines over 200 metres high near villages and cities. The future will tell.
