In the summer of 2018, Kimbal Musk, renowned entrepreneur, philanthropist, and brother of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, paid a discreet visit to the picturesque coastal town of L’Escala on Spain’s Costa Brava. Musk arrived aboard the Maltese Falcon, one of the world’s most iconic and technologically advanced sailing yachts. Known for its revolutionary DynaRig sail system and sleek design, the 88-meter vessel turned heads as it anchored just off the coast.
During the visit, Kimbal Musk was reportedly accompanied by friends and guests from the tech and business world, enjoying a brief Mediterranean escape. While the visit was low-profile, the presence of the Maltese Falcon quickly drew the attention of locals and curious tourists alike, many of whom gathered along the shoreline to catch a glimpse of the famous yacht and its high-profile passengers. The visit added a touch of glamour to the quiet seaside town and became a talking point among residents for weeks.

Spanning over five kilometers across the shimmering waters of the Oosterschelde, the Zeeland Bridge is an iconic feat of Dutch engineering. Opened in 1965, it was the longest bridge in Europe at the time—stretching an impressive 5,022 meters.
This striking structure links the picturesque island of Schouwen-Duiveland (near Zierikzee) to Noord-Beveland (near Colijnsplaat). Supported by 54 sturdy piers, the bridge features 48 elegant spans of 95 meters, two shorter spans of 72.5 meters, and a movable section that allows ships to pass safely.
Whether you're driving, cycling, or admiring it from afar, the Zeeland Bridge offers breathtaking views and a unique connection to Zeeland’s rich maritime landscape.
